Music City Animal Rescue is a committed to the idea that NO animal should be adopted thru our rescue
program without having been spayed or neutered.  Every month we receive hundreds of calls from
either individuals that have a pregnant or nursing mom that was either theirs or just showed up as a
stray that they are unable to handle because of food, space, vetting etc...
Currently, every shelter or humane association we deal with is beyond their capacity and have had to resort to
calling on local rescues to help by pulling animals when they have no more room or even worse - euthanasia!

Music City Animal Rescue is a small rescue with an all volunteer foster home base.  We have no brick and mortar
facility.  We do not receive state or local government assistance nor do we qualify for many grant opportunities.
Coverage from local news agencies is rare and support from the community is dwindling as the cost of
living is increasing.  Our donations have been cut by 60% in the past 18 months.

In order for Music City Animal Rescue to continue to help the precious animals in need, we need your help.
The best way we know to ease pet overpopulation is to be strong advocates for spay/neuter.
With the cost of vetting continually on the rise, this is becoming increasingly difficult.
